A beaut of an ugly dog

The annual World’s Ugliest Dog, uh, pageant(?), has been the go-to place for all sorts of proud canine anti-aesthetics.
And this year’s competition was no different. From the throng of hopefuls emerged Gus, pictured above.
Gus is a pedigree Chinese crested with three legs, one eye, hairless skin except for a tuft on his forehead, and, after winning top prize, on proud owner.
